How do I make an appointment?

You can call our office at 305-857-0050 to make an appointment.

What is the cancellation policy?

 We require 24 hour notification, prior to your set appointment time, for any cancellations or changes. There is a cancellation fee for any appointments that are cancelled within 24 hour of your appointment time, which is the full cost of therapy. Please call our office directly at 305-857-0050 to cancel or change your appointment. If you call outside our normal office hours, please leave a message with our answering service and mentioning your therapists name to cancel. Our office is open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.

How can I contact my therapist if I want to leave them a message?

You can call our office at 305-857-0050 or email us at info@counselinggroupmiami.com to leave a message. All messages with be handled with confidentiality and during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.  

What type of insurances do you accept?

 We do not accept insurance, it is self pay only.

When will my credit card be charged?

We charge the card on file the day after your session. If your session falls on a Friday or weekend, the card will be charged the next business day.

SMS PRIVACY POLICIES COLLECTION OF PHONE NUMBERS

The Counseling Group of Miami will collect your phone numbers only when you voluntarily provide them to us, for example, during intake paperwork, transactions, inquiries, or through our online contact us page. You can opt in to receive these SMS messages either when completing the online contact us page or when you complete your intake paperwork to become a client.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

OPT IN CONSENT: By submitting your phone number, you are authorizing us to send you text messages and notifications. Message/data rates apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe to a message sent from us.

USE OF PHONE NUMBERS FOR SMS 

Your phone numbers are primarily used to provide you with appointment reminders 24 hours before your appointment or communication with our office regarding questions, appointments, and any changes you need to provide us with. We will only share your phone number with our SMS provider, subject to their privacy policy. 

We use GoToConnect to send all SMS communications to users who have opted in. Please view GoToConnect privacy policy at https://www.goto.com/company/legal/privacy/us  with information on how they use user information.

OPTING OUT OF MARKETING MESSAGES 

If at any time you wish to stop receiving marketing SMS from us, you can opt out by
– Texting STOP to opt-out
 
– Texting UNSUBSCRIBE to opt-out

– Texting CANCEL to opt-out

– Texting QUIT to opt-out

Please note that the opt-out process may take up to 10 business days to become effective. During this period, you may still receive some messages from us.

PRIVACY OF PHONE NUMBERS 

Once you have opted out, we will not send you any more SMS messages, nor will we sell or transfer your phone number to another party. 

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat your information by placing a prominent notice on our site.
