Suzanne Souferian holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bentley University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University. She works with individuals, couples, and families to address challenges, enhance relationships, and cultivate effective communication. Suzanne has experience supporting clients dealing with a wide range of issues, including interpersonal difficulties, couples issues, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, self-esteem concerns, and working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
As an integrative therapist, Suzanne tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. She draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic and attachment theory, evidence-based Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and narrative therapy. Suzanne is also trained in Brainspotting Phase 1, a powerful tool for trauma recovery. She believes that our early life experiences shape the patterns, beliefs, and narratives that influence us throughout adulthood, and by increasing self-awareness, clients can begin to make meaningful changes. Therapy is a collaborative process where Suzanne works alongside her clients to identify their goals, uncover the root causes of their struggles, and develop new skills to move forward.
In her sessions, Suzanne fosters an environment of empathy, trust, and acceptance, understanding that therapy is a transformative process that offers opportunities for insight, healing, and lasting growth.
